Are you looking for more natural and eco friendly cleaning products in your kitchen. With just the basic household ingredients—such as baking soda, vinegar, castile soap, and essential oils — you can create powerful, non-toxic cleaners for you kitchen. These ingredients have wonderful characteristics which can remove dirt, grease, and bacteria while leaving behind a fresh scent.
Vinegar, lemon and baking soda is most commonly used. Vinegar is a natural disinfectant, it removes grease, eliminates odors and dissolves mineral buildup. Lemon is also natural degreaser, antibacterial, stain remover, and leaves a fresh scent. Baking soda acts as a scrubs, removes stains, neutralizes acids and also absorbs grease.

Lets not hold our breaths any longer, time to jump into the recipes:
Grease spray
Spray can be used on countertops, stovetops, and greasy surfaces. Wipe afterwards with a microfiber cloth.
Ingredients:
1 cup white vinegar
1 cup water
1 teaspoon castile soap
10 drops lemon essential oil (cuts grease)
5 drops orange essential oil (optional for extra degreasing power)
Stainless steel cleaner
Place in a spray bottle like the degreaser. Wipe with a microfiber cloth in the direction of the grain when cleaning.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon olive oil
5 drops lemon or lavender essential oil (optional for a fresh scent)

Sink and drain scrub
This lovely recipe removes grime, odors, and buildup in sinks. Sprinkle some baking soda in the sink and around the drain. Pour lemon juice or vinegar over the baking soda - it will make some bubbles and fizz. Let sit for 5-10 minutes before scrubbing with a sponge, rinse afterward with warm water. More essential oils can be added according to your preference of scent.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup baking soda
1/4 cup lemon juice (or white vinegar)
5 drops tea tree essential oil (antibacterial)
